Secret Plate

Secret Plate was envisioned as an immersive spatial narrative—where India’s rich culinary heritage is translated into a refined, contemporary interior language.

Within a compact 750 sq. ft. footprint, the design challenge was to craft intimacy without compromising on presence. I approached the space as a layered composition: warm ambient lighting to create depth and softness, dramatic statement walls to anchor visual interest, and a carefully curated material palette that balances vibrancy with sophistication. Every surface, texture, and transition was intentionally detailed to enhance both mood and movement.

The spatial planning prioritizes experiential flow—guests transition seamlessly from entry to dining, with each vantage point offering a distinct yet cohesive visual story. The lighting design plays a central role, sculpting the space and elevating the dining atmosphere from casual to luxurious after dusk.

Secret Plate is not just a restaurant interior; it is a sensory environment. The design amplifies the culinary experience, ensuring that heritage flavors are complemented by contemporary elegance, thoughtful detailing, and an unmistakable sense of refined hospitality.
